A story for a future collection that will be published based on the results of a contest for authors and readers in the science-fiction genre "Special Assignment Project-2024." The author is part of the contest jury. The action takes place in the universe of "Adventures of Pinocchio" between the events described in the third book "The Game of Dreams" and the fourth "Beyond the Event Horizon." An ironic attempt to imagine further development of a technocratic civilization, its influence on society, and the fragile human psyche.
