A city shrouded in darkness and trapped between revolution and madness. Klara Silva arrives in the capital seeking a better future, but finds herself in a tangled labyrinth where the line between dreams and reality blurs, and conspirators intersect with revived nightmares. A world reminiscent of early 20th-century Europe—cold and grim, with echoes of a recent civil war. It’s a city where police spies and passionate revolutionaries rule, where factory workers coexist with former aristocrats, rebel poets with deranged scientists, and, of course, monsters. Klara Silva, hoping to find a better life, heads for the Capital of the Republic—only for mysterious visions to start chasing her on the train: her dead father calls for rescue, and terrifying doll-like capriccio creatures turn her dreams into nightmares. Soon Klara realizes the capital is far more dangerous than it seemed: conspirators are everywhere, children vanish in the streets, and at night the boundary between reality and dreams becomes blurred.
