Reflection over several millennia wasn’t in vain for the underground god. The valkyrie Rangrid, having returned to the family, drives Odin to the point where he finally decides to resurrect all the inhabitants of Asgard—and restore Asgard itself from the ashes. For this mission, they will need a very special weapon, a pile of gear, and very strange companions. To some extent, Odin “overworks” from his lost divine talents as he sets off on the farthest journey of his life. And what if, for the sake of a high goal, he has to go against his old friend Hedin? What if, in doing so, all that exists could collapse? What if old enemies insist on joining as allies? And what if he will have to die himself, and kill the last living daughter? Odin, even despite all his antiquarian nature, has an extremely hard time finding the right answers.
