Description
A huge ship left the Solar System to found a colony by a neighboring star 60 years later. But years pass, and a mutiny breaks out among the exhausted people—and the entire crew capable of operating the ship dies. The survivors aboard the transport starship “Avangard,” who remained alive after many generations from the start, split into two opposing camps—feral mutants and the “crew” who turned scientific knowledge into a religious doctrine.
The survivors gradually forget the purpose of the voyage; new generations don’t even imagine any other universe than the Ship. And so the years go on… But one day, someone appears who can unravel the mystery of the Ship and guide it to the long-awaited goal—yet people’s stubbornness and the ambitions of those in power often can’t overcome their own ideas about the nature of the universe…
