What can you do, an ordinary Russian person? You can give up and receive a mercifully easy death.
You can accept the victors as your masters and go voluntarily into slavery—or sign up as a policeman.
But you can also say, “I’m going to stand against you,” accept the challenge, and answer aggression with a full-scale partisan war.
And only in that last case can you call yourself Russian!
