“Ripped Time” is the novel by Andrey Posnyakov, the second part of the cycle “Paris 1968,” written in the genres of reincarnation (isekai) and detective science fiction.

Sergei and his girlfriend Agnes—people from our time—are forced to return once again to Paris in 1968: they need to destroy broken time and seal the portal again, otherwise the world is threatened by the deaths of millions, chaos, and escalating entropy.

Only the two of them—Serge and Agnes—understand who is actually pulling the strings, and they know that these people won’t stop at anything. At the same time, the young have plenty of opponents and just plain ill-wishers even in their familiar “ordinary” life.

Still, at the heart of this story is love.
