A representative of the golden youth, the zigzag of fate lands in the 1970s in a country he knows only from textbooks. Having fallen under the Soviet system that assigns university graduates, he becomes an investigator in the internal affairs bodies. But he has entirely different plans for his new life. He sets out to escape to the West, to a world of capitalism more familiar to him. And to make his plans a reality, Albert is capable of a lot—even of using his official position.
