Only a disk with a new computer game could make Sato Kazuma leave the house. As it turned out, this very day luck left him. After buying the treasured disk, Sato dies in an accident. But that’s only half the trouble!

The moment the hero finds himself in the afterlife, Akua— the local goddess—takes him in hand at once. She convinces the naive gamer that in heaven it will be unbearably boring, but she could help Sato by sending him to another world that looks a lot like an RPG game.

Without thinking, the goddess promised that she would give him any item he chose to take with him.
