After Kevin was expelled from his “alma mater,” his main occupation became rescuing the headstrong Duchess Ophelia. “Invaluable” help is provided by Luka, one of those seemingly lower demons. And what did such help turn into? Fun (and not so fun) adventures with a raucous bunch: Kevin (a human), Luka (a demon), Zyrg (a troll), Avoska and Neboska (gnomes, but—turns out—they’re princes)… The story is lively and humorous, easy to read, and full of plot surprises. The sequel turned out quite energetic: the friends of the paladin reveal their abilities, the enemies’ plans come to light, but the hero’s path remains thorny and dangerous. It’s interesting, funny, and captivating.
