The Burn

Yaroslava is a nineteen-year-old student who, at sixteen, had everything. Care from her parents, money, and her first love she met in the Moscow metro. An ordinary guy, Sasha, was a little older than her. They agreed to date innocently and talk—together, waiting for her to turn eighteen.

A month after meeting, he came to their first date at her elite settlement and saw that Slava’s house was on fire. The boy pulled the girl out of the blaze, but then disappeared in an unknown direction—as did all of Yaroslava’s previous life. She was left with only memories and a burn on her right hand that she had held out to him when they met during the fire.
