Difference from other audio recordings:
This release is a modern compilation of two previous distributions. The basis was taken from the 2006 release performed by Vadim Maksimov and Anna Kozhevnikova. Baba Yaga’s voice (performed by Anna Kozhevnikova) has been replaced by me, carefully line by line, with the voice of Vladimir Gerasimov from his 2012 release, because—according to the overwhelming majority of listeners (and my own)—Anna’s Baba Yaga’s performance spoils the impression of the listening. In her version, all other female roles—princesses, residents of the town of Lukoshkino, etc.—were kept. I think this option is the best (and you’ll still have to make sure of that) at this time.
