One of the most important things to understand about a person is that a person simply sleeps. And doesn’t wake up, even if they think they’re awake. Their awakening is very fragile; it is so tiny that it shouldn’t even be taken into account. Their being awake is only a beautiful—yet empty—name.
Don’t fool yourself with the fact that you wake up by opening your eyes. Until your inner eyes open—until you are filled with light, until you are able to see yourself, see who you truly are—don’t hope that you are awake.
