Youth is a lie. Pure evil.
Those of you who rejoice in youth are only fooling yourselves and everyone around you. You look at everything through rose-colored glasses. And even making a fatal mistake, you call it only proof that you are young.
Let me give an example. Getting involved in a crime like shoplifting or public disorder— such people call it “youthful carelessness.” Failing an exam, they claim school isn’t just a place for learning. Hiding behind “youth,” they spit on morality and norms of behavior.
Carelessness, misconduct, secrets, lying, and even their own failures are merely “signs of youth” for them. On their corrupt path, they consider their failures to be natural evidence of youth, and other people’s failures—just failures, nothing more.
If failures are a manifestation of youth, shouldn’t it be considered that not being able to make friends is also a sign of youth? But of course they don’t think so.
Nonsense. It’s all just the result of their opportunism. Which means shame. Those full of lies, secrets, and deception should be despised.
They are evil.
In other words, no matter how ironic it sounds, the truly virtuous are those who don’t celebrate their youth.
And let all the popular ones die.
