Operation on Two Hearts

1982. KGB Lieutenant Colonel Alexei Ulanov betrays his oath and flees to the United States, where he begins cooperating with the CIA. Soviet intelligence decides to bring the defector back at any cost and involves his former wife Sofia in the operation — a woman who, it turns out, had no idea about her husband’s plans. Under the supervision of KGB Major Oleg Werner, she flies to the States and stages a "reunion" with Ulanov. However, getting him out of America turns out to be much more difficult: the defector is under round-the-clock protection from Western intelligence services. Then Sofia and Werner devise a daring scheme, but the price of a mistake is too high — and the risk to each participant is deadly...
