Having fallen out of our time into 1941, he at first only wanted to go back to the future—until he saw with his own eyes what the Hitler occupiers were doing on Soviet soil. Trapped deep in the rear of the Wehrmacht with no hope of reaching his own people, he gathers a fighting unit from other encircled men to take revenge on the punitive forces and police.
