One early morning, a longtime friend of the Knyazev family visits them—Professor of History Yulian Semyonovich. He has an intriguing and mysterious story for Igor, Maksim, and Kira: many years ago, a descendant of a once wealthy, but now ruined industrialist family from the Urals—trying to escape his creditors—loaded the remains of the family’s gold onto a train to smuggle it abroad. The train left… and disappeared without a trace.
