My name is Ilya. I’m a heavyweight boxer, and my nickname is Murovets—even though I never sat on the stove.
Everything was going fine until I got disqualified. My father fell ill, and we need money for his treatment. But where do you get it if you can’t do anything properly except beat up other people’s faces?
I went to fight on an underground arena. I thought I’d swing my fists, earn some money, and ride off into the sunset. I didn’t take into account that when big money is on the line, shady operators don’t disdain anything.
In the end, after the final bout, they sold me—half-dead—to some weirdos, and those threw me into a portal. I was dumped into another world: a labyrinth full of monsters, set up as entertainment for the local freaks.
To top it off, the portal granted me the ability of a “Voidwalker” (Пустотник). What it is—I still don’t really understand. All I know is that they named it that way not because it’s cool.
But I’ll get out. I’ll find a way back home. And then, with the people who put on this circus, I’ll talk in Russian—no rules, no referee, and no gong for the break.
