What does the Accused have to do with criminal showdowns, contract killings, and competition between bandit clans in Russian trade—after all, these are ordinary, everyday events of the modern era. Yet at the very center of events turns out to be not quite an ordinary person: a terrorist and “shape-shifter” agent known as Elf, famed for being unstoppable.
