Description

Katrin Tordazi was born near Stuttgart and grew up on stories by Astrid Lindgren and Michael Ende. Wherever she ends up, she always spends more in bookshops than she planned—especially in Paris.

For many, Paris is the embodiment of a dream, but for Lea it’s just another stop on an unwanted move. How is she supposed to make friends in the middle of all this? But one day, while walking through the gardens of Notre-Dame, she encounters a mysterious girl who… talks to birds?!

Her new acquaintance, a girl named Alex, along with a group of street kids, shows Lea a different Paris—one full of hidden magic, accessible only to those who know how to notice it. But when Alex is unexpectedly kidnapped, Lea will have to find the courage to face danger head-on in order to save her.
