Once in Middleshyre

The village of Midleshire is full of secrets, but local residents quickly learn all the news. The estate of the last lord Diglby is abandoned, and after his death it will be torn down. Finding an image of an unfamiliar woman in an ancient locket, the lord decides to search for a possible heir. He is helped by a young writer, the gardener’s daughter, and even local elderly ladies known for their gossip. Perhaps one of them noticed something? They intend to uncover this mystery—even if they have to face ghosts!
