American special services have long been hunting the latest Russian unmanned underwater-and-underwater-capable vehicle. With its help, they want to stage a provocation against Russia during joint exercises in the Arabian Sea. They also need the famed underwater special-ops man Sergey Pavlov, nicknamed Polundra. After all, they’ve already sunk the device by taking it off radar screens—and now Pavlov has to retrieve it from the seabed. But such a role clearly doesn’t fit Sergei. He decided to return the device to his own side. And he won’t be stopped even by a dozen American underwater divers who are keeping watch on Polundra in the search area…
