“Were these kinds of creatures around last time?” I asked quietly, as Андрей asked me.
“No,” I shook my head. “First time I’m seeing anything like this, I guess. Probably all the dungeons differ from each other a lot.”
“Serious guys,” he said. “But there’s nothing to do—we’ll attack.”
The rest of the group looked worried too, including me and Anya, even though just a moment ago everyone was determined to tear apart the enemy that would come their way—into pieces. Now, in the big hall, we saw our first opponents: only two of them, but right away the urge hit us to go back and refuse to continue the run.
Most of all they reminded me of monkeys—only they walked on their back legs. We couldn’t see the whole opponent clearly because they were armored almost completely, with only their faces exposed—by which you could tell it was something like gorillas.
