A deaf boy, a resident of Minsk in the USSR era, is killed by a lightning strike. Immediately, an alien entity—an officer of the cosmo-fleet who died in a space battle—enters his body. This happens with the help of artificial intelligence that in time transfers the consciousness of the star-voyager into another dimension.
