This is a story of bonds formed more than two thousand years ago by a couple who later gave rise to the very “Overlord of Demons.” On Anos’s mother, Isabella, fell an illness that, as it turned out, was caused by a phantom beast awakened in the “Pit of Desperate Longing.” Anos arrives in the “world of the Pit of Desperate Longing” to destroy the one who, it seems, is responsible—Dominic, the head of the “Phantom Beasts Organization.” However, the enemy Anos was supposed to fight had already been killed by someone else. And because he happened to be nearby at the very moment when Dominic’s foundation was destroyed, Anos himself becomes a suspect in Dominic’s murder. To help him out of his predicament, someone shows up posing as his ally—but… having exposed the true puppeteer behind him, Anos decides to shed light on the real state of affairs behind that chain of events… Going back to the moment when Gusta met Isabella, before their reincarnations.
