Vorkh Ross’s life is full of adventures. First, by his own will, he leaves Earth as a slave locked in a medical capsule. But once he ends up on a pirate spaceship along with other Earthlings, he escapes himself and helps others escape too…
And it seems that something keeps protecting him. Having unique knowledge and abilities, he becomes a tasty target both for slaveholders and for cruel scientists—yet, by a miracle, he manages to slip away from both.
But maybe the cause isn’t a miracle at all—maybe a strange parasite has settled in Ross’s body and devours the implanted neural networks? Or maybe it’s not a parasite, but another network given to Vorkh by mysterious Seeders?
In any case, to unravel all these twists of fate, Vorkh must reach the Seeders themselves—even if it means having to go back many years, to another planet, and into another version of his own body…
