Starting Over. Youth Is a Wonderful Time

A former engineer, now retired and a fantasy author, drives out of town to take an acquaintance to her dacha. On the way back, he picks up a hitchhiker—a strange priest. Between the protagonist and the priest there’s a conversation in which the priest asks what the protagonist would do if he could go back to the years of his youth. The main character replies that he would change his fate. The priest says the hero should not forget the people around him, about justice and kindness. Meanwhile, the priest smirks as if he can do something the hero doesn’t even suspect.

When the main character returns home, he goes to sleep in the evening… and wakes up at the age of fourteen. How the hero’s life and those close to him will turn out, what changes will happen in their lives—you can find out from the book. For readers: the second book in the series “Start Over.”
