Alexander Morozov, an older and seasoned prisoner from a correctional colony, dies—his consciousness is transferred back to the past, to the distant year 1978.
The USSR is in full bloom, and Morozov finds himself in the body of a frail dog handler. Now he is a Soviet militiaman, a green lieutenant.
