We are light elves, not a humorous fantasy, not a parable, not even an elven epic or the bold adventures of a suicide squad. It’s simply a magical girl and the elves of Vladimir Zhuravlyov. It’s intellectual, sometimes funny, sometimes subtle with a touch of mockery; other times it’s just philosophical—incredibly deep. It’s wonderful.
We are light elves. And anyone who doesn’t believe will get it in the eye. If you think about it, it’s a very serious book about what happens if you behave the way a good creature, a follower of Good and Light, should—rather than like you usually do. And if you don’t think too much, it’s also a not-so-serious book about the adventures of a squad of quirky elves—and not only of them.
