On a colossal orbital station MOAG—huge like a city—live happy, beautiful, smart children. They are raised, taught, and cared for by robots: attentive nannies, teachers, and guards. But where are their parents, and why do they never visit the children? And what future awaits the students who are now studying to become programmers, space navigators, and robotics specialists? Interesting work, the fulfillment of every wish, traveling across the universe—or something dreadful and unclear, something mentioned in a scary nursery rhyme that little ones whisper and repeat until the robots can hear? MOAG holds many secrets, and the residents of the station will have to unravel them, otherwise they won’t be able to survive and live among people.
