The Darkness of Your Eyes

The darkness in your eyes is a surreal novel by Ilya Masodov whose characters lead a dim, after-death existence. Pioneer Sonya, during one of her deaths, sees the Black Pyramid, which she believes will lead her to sleeping Lenin. From that moment on, Sonya’s existence takes on a ghostly meaning. She is destined for confrontations with Soviet cannibal-pedophiles, village satanists, partisan-like vurdalaks, and dead Chekists.
