Fabian Risk decides to step away from things for a while to spend time with his family, which is going through hard times. But mysterious suicide of his colleague, Hugo Elvin, still won’t let him go. Inspector is convinced that his friend was investigating a case that touched the interests of top-ranking police officials. Meanwhile, Helsingborg is shaken by a wave of brutal attacks on refugee quarters, and it seems the entire country has been struck by a virus of intolerance.
