Moscow and Muscovy

What is it like—to be in the mind of an energetic, ambitious English girl at the end of the 17th century?

The consciousness of our compatriot and contemporary finds itself in a child living in England at the end of the seventeenth century. The heroine, along with her parents and a group of students of the school she created, reaches Arkhangelsk. There she discovers that plans to build a river empire were far too bold: foreigners are not allowed to move freely through the lands of Muscovy. She is allowed only to bring goods in and out of Arkhangelsk, and they strongly advise against going inside the country. So Sofia Jonatanovna must solve a difficult task—prepare local residents for the creation of a river fleet and organize traffic along rivers and portages, while staying in place and not sticking her nose out. Meanwhile, at the same time, the restless heroine is irresistibly drawn everywhere to see everything. However, luck favors the one who carries it.

Sofi is absolutely not ready to miss even the slightest chance to achieve her goal.
