Bridget, a nurse and the mother of a young son, decides to rent out a room to her new colleague, doctor-in-training Simon, to earn more money. Simon is charming, and Bridget starts to develop an interest in him. But their views on life are different, and Simon will soon leave the country after his placement ends. Despite her attempts to ignore him, Bridget finds it hard not to pay attention—because Simon is simply impossible not to notice.
