A World as a Gift

A World as a Gift

20 hrs. 1 min.
The chance to change worlds—after being disappointed in this one—is granted very rarely. And now it has happened: in the past, the familiar problems are behind her. Does that mean there will be no new ones? Of course not. In the new world, the heroine begins to act with almost excessive decisiveness, convinced she’s practically on vacation and that everything around her is just scenery—almost unreal. What a bright, light, and beautiful world! Nature is wonderful, and people are simply marvelous; the gift is powerful and helps, rescues from trouble… But gradually the “scenery” grows roots into the ground. Because no matter the world, you still have to choose—your path, your calling, your ideals, your side in the conflict.

Personal safety—or the risk of saving, in essence, a naive local order from big disasters.

Power and success at the cost of one human soul (the price is the same everywhere)—or ridiculous Don Quixotism, a daily risk without any hope for recognition or reward.
