Young ruler Mycenaean Clytemnestra grows anxious: she feels that in the corridors of the palace come the moans of dead children. Her family, recently cursed and stained with blood, lives in a world dominated by men and gods. Once, she was happy with her husband Tantalus and their little son—but that world was destroyed by Agamemnon, hungry for power. He seized the palace, killed her loved ones, and made her his wife against her will. Obsessed with revenge, Clytemnestra faces the interference of the gods, which makes her attempts to get rid of her hated husband futile. She is willing to reconcile for the sake of the future of her new children, but fate forces her to challenge male authority and Agamemnon’s tyranny. The curse must be lifted!
