The Moon Post on Sumer Street starts working only after dark. People say that from here you can deliver a message to anyone and at any time—to the past, the present, or the future—if you follow the secret conditions.

They write here backwards, in mirrored lines, hiding between the letters the feelings that for years they held to themselves and never dared to say out loud. Then the letter is delivered to Suigetsu, a quiet, attentive mail carrier who understands more than people usually say.

Each message becomes a step toward reconciliation, parting, or a new attempt to start from a clean slate—and it goes where it’s needed most. But not always do words change events instantly; sometimes they need time to be heard.
