Survival Quest

The Zone has become familiar—it has long been explored by stalkers, walked through in all directions. Traps, anomalies, mutants, factions… everything is known and nothing surprises you. A balance of power has been achieved. But something is happening in the Zone; it changes, subtly, imperceptibly.

Egor Atilov, a stalker with a reputation, is hired to rob the first stalker bank. This is only a test: can you find a loophole in the protection? But it turns out everything is far more complicated. What mysterious object is kept in the bank’s vault? Why does a major, dangerous faction want to get hold of it? Egor has to turn to help from an old friend whom, it seemed, he had left behind forever. He is forced first to secretly track his enemies, and then, on the contrary, to hide… and all of it to open the way into a new, unexplored part of the Zone.
