Space flights were like a game: you look at the night sky, then close your eyes, and it feels as if you’re floating among the stars in weightlessness—your body seems to dissolve and become part of the surrounding space, like a speck of stardust carried along by cosmic wind toward distant, endless galaxies. Who didn’t play that game as a child?

But one day Misha openly stated that he could travel in space as a cloud, and—what’s more—told about an alien invasion threatening Earth. Instantly he turned into a laughingstock.

Now a serious choice confronts him: find a new world for himself on a faraway alien planet, or take the risk and save his own. Will he turn away from the ones who turned away from him? To carry out the rescue plan, he will have to pass terrifying trials: plunge into the scorching rays of Arcturus, cross the boundary of the black hole’s gravitational field, and go into a special space where nobody has been before.
