Blood Harvest in Shadow Glen

While the town is bustling with preparations for its favorite Harvest Festival, fearless journalist Vera Vixen is about to take on the most baffling case of her career—investigating the murder of a rat that, it seems, somehow didn’t go anywhere and continues living as if nothing happened.

Things are brewing in Thorny Hollow! After a string of successfully solved cases, Detective Orville Brown decides to run for the position of police chief. But that news pales when the calm of the neighboring town is shattered by a piercing scream from a rat—Dorothy Springfield—an eccentric daydreamer with a reputation for loving tall tales. Dorothy insists that her husband was killed… but he is standing right next to her.

While others chalk it up to Dorothy’s clouded mind, Vera senses that this is something bigger—there’s a real scoop here. There are too many oddities in the story. The only clue is a sticky stain in the entryway on the carpet, suspiciously resembling blood. But things turn far darker when a body is found in the forest… without a head. Could Dorothy be telling the truth? Is her husband truly dead, and is a fake standing beside her?
