After an unfortunate accident involving lightning, fifteen-year-old Mochizuki Tōya dies—but when he wakes up, he is sitting face-to-face with God. “Regrettable to say this, but I made a slight mistake…” moaned the old man. But it’s not all lost! God offers Tōya a chance to be reborn in another world—a world of swords and magic—and, as an apology, God allows him to take a smartphone with him.

And so Tōya’s adventures begin in his new, outdated pseudo-medieval world! He sets out on an exciting, carefree journey, visiting all kinds of places. Along the way he meets many different people, gaining important companions.
