The Godfather

Young Michael Corleone has always been a “black sheep” among the members of his family—the family of Don Vito Corleone, the family of the powerful Godfather. He fought not in the streets of New York, but on the fields of World War II. He got his education not among the reasonable mafiosi, but at the university. He never recognized his father’s authority over himself and, of course, never planned to follow in his footsteps.

But when Vito Corleone is subjected to a daring assassination attempt, only Michael is capable of taking revenge for his father. Only Michael can lead the family and restore its dominant position among the criminal syndicates of New York.
