Zhou Mingrui, an ordinary young Chinese man, by the will of fate finds himself in the body of Klein Moretti, yesterday’s graduate from the History Department at the Tingon City Institute in the kingdom of Loen—a different world that has stalled at about the technological level of the Victorian era: steam mechanisms, airships, and firearms. Moreover, almost immediately the newly transmigrated man discovers that he has been pulled into mysterious otherworldly affairs involving people with paranormal abilities who gained their powers by drinking special potions. But being “otherworldly” brings many dangers, because any of them can potentially go mad and turn into a monster.
And if Zhou Mingrui wants to stay alive and return home, he will have to do more than forcedly take over a stranger’s life in a new form—he must also plunge headfirst into the countless deadly secrets of the otherworld…
