The third book of the memoirs of the wonderful director Georgy Nikolaevich Danelia. In it, the author describes the complex path of creating films: “Passport,” “Nastya,” “Eagle and Tails,” “Fortuna,” and tells about the complicated situation in cinema that arose at the intersection of two eras—from socialism to capitalism—and, as in the previous books, recalls the interesting people he has met. All of this is rendered with Danelia’s unique humor, sometimes tinged with sadness, so masterfully combined in the narrative.
