I got into another world where orcs, elves, and goblins live alongside people, and technological development has stalled somewhere at the level of the late nineteenth century. Here they don’t believe in magic, and they don’t believe in gods. They treat miracles—like my newly acquired abilities—as just phenomena unknown to science. But even here there are plenty of problems. The world is full of secrets, intrigues, and conspiracies, and amid all that swirl, I now have to somehow survive—me, the most ordinary medical worker from Chelyabinsk.
