The Prince of the Left River

Ahead are battles with the ruler of Navia, the birth of the keeper, and his searches—but meanwhile the young prince Ivan, who has barely turned seventeen, knows nothing about any of it. Miraculously saved right after his birth, he lives in his own principality, which was devastated by the first war with the ruler of Skarad and is sealed off from the rest of the world. Every creature of Navia hunts for Ivan—they take their fierce hatred out by exacting revenge on all the Rileviches for their defeat. And to make matters worse, the young prince’s heart is captured by the princess of Ripavr—Sofya. But Ivan won’t be allowed to get close to her. It’s too dangerous to be near him.
