Book 2. Nineveh

The second book takes the reader to the capital of Assyria—Nineveh. A gripping saga from the life of Ancient Assyria in the 6th century BC, when the Assyrians struck fear into all the inhabitants of the East: from the Near East and Egypt to the Transcaucasus and India. The reader is immersed in an astonishing, mysterious world where beautifully drawn characters act, connected by a rapidly developing plot. One unquestionable advantage of the Chronicles is that neither in details nor in the overall composition does the literary work conflict with the scientific and historical information available to us about that time.
