There are moments in the fate of the world when the proportion of good sharply shifts in favor of evil. That’s when wars happen, epidemics break out, and natural disasters occur.
A group of students from the Academy of Initiates, including Alice and Oleg, went on practice to Valdai thinking, “Finally, we’ll have real work to do!” But they were destined not just to carry out a series of useful deeds. They were assigned a mission: to seal those doors through which forces of evil might rush into our world.
Where can the keys to those doors be found? Perhaps they are kept by a little girl who has fallen into a comatose sleep, and whose nightmares Alice tries to overcome together with her? Or maybe by Oleg’s father—a famous scientist, whose search even the teachers of the Initiates join?
