The trials of Anton Ov echkin continue. A group of people who survived a nuclear explosion and is led by the strict Oleg Porfiryev is trying to reach the stockpiles of the Rosrezerv. In these warehouses they hope to find the necessary resources: fuel, food, and water.

The journey is difficult and dangerous because radioactive dust almost completely blocks visibility. Constant exposure to radiation worsens the health of the expedition members. Soon they encounter robots that seem to be programmed to destroy living creatures. However, perhaps their task is more specific and aimed at eliminating precisely the group from “Podzemstroy-1.” The solution to this secret lies ahead.

Meanwhile, the expedition members have to put on protective suits, take anti-radiation medications, and—gathering all their courage—continue moving forward. Because people who have lost hope are waiting for their return.
