Narration is done by artificial intelligence: steady diction and precise pronunciation help those who are studying a foreign language. The collection includes ten authentic Norwegian fairy tales—highly imaginative and atmospheric, with a sea’s breath, the rustling of leaves, and the soft light of the northern sun. Each story is complemented by modern stylish illustrations. There are plots familiar to Russian-speaking readers—for example, “East of the Sun and West of the Moon,” “The Castle of Soria-Moria,” “The Boys Who Met the Trolls in the Hadel Forest,” as well as rare fairy tales previously not translated into Russian—including “The Seventh Father in the House.” Difficulty level: B1–B2.
