Modified of the Third Series

A modified third-series fantasy novel by Dmitry Siyanov, the first book of the cycle “The Modified,” genre: action fantasy, isekai (coming to another world). An ordinary guy gets hit by a car and ends up in another world…. Posthumously! This world has already survived its apocalypse and is now in agony. The plot is banal—I’ve heard many such stories. It’s a sword-and-magic world, plus gadgets and nanotechnologies—already more interesting, but not by much. The “magic,” though, isn’t quite magic, because magic is something you can’t explain scientifically. And the “agony” isn’t quite agony either: agony is death throes, and our “patient” doesn’t even think about dying.
